Child development experts know: for preschoolers, acquiring healthy learning attitudes is far more important that mastery of specific skill. Our programs are carefully designed for exactly what children need most during these formative years. In our programs, gymnastics skills are used as tools to teach learning attitudes while skill mastery is a secondary goal. At Athletes in Morion Sports Center we keep first things first.........kids!

We divide our programs into 5 categories. At these tender ages, we believe these divisions are necessary in order to create just the right learning environment for each stage of a child's development. Few organizations go to this trouble but we know that children feel more comfortable and learn more in our groupings. We hope you agree.

Parent & Tot - 1 to 3 Years of Age

A playful, parent/tot class centered around age appropriate developmental movements using special tot-size apparatus, with strong emphasis on socialization and group involvement.

Tiny Tumble Tots - 3 Years of Age
No parents needed here. There are mountains to climb, rivers to swim, canyons to jump, vines to swing from, and tramps to jump on. More physically challenging skills give kids stronger bodies and sharper minds, as well as a clearer understanding of their bodies' capabilities and limitations.

Tumble Tots - 4 Years of Age
These kids are beginning to really step out and MOVE. We know it is even more essential that their physical challenges be monitored for safety and that their attempts be rewarded, this will provide positive learning experiences.

Advanced Tumble Tots - 5 Years of Age
These kids are beginning to really take a shine to physical challenges. This is an exciting age, because they are now up to the challenge to be learning more specific skills, and combinations.

Mighty Tots - 51/2 - 6 Years of Age
We have found a need for this class in order to be able to challenge the child that seems to have an endless source of energy. With a two hour class, more emphasis can be placed on physical strength and flexibility along with skills.
