The Heritage Community Association in partnership with community members, community schools, businesses, Regina Police Service, Regina Health Region and the City of Regina established audit teams to carry out methodical inspections throughout the entire community. During these inspections the Audit Teams identified aspects of land use, infrastructure, and public spaces that contribute to the commission of crime in the Heritage Community. Graffiti management, clearing sightlines, back alley numbering and replacing burnt out street lights are just a few of the initiatives being addressed by this ongoing project.
