Welcome to the Regina Highland Dancing Association!

We are currently updating the site and some sections may be unavailable, we apologise for any inconvienence

The RHDA is a parent run organization that exists to promote Highland Dancing and Scottish Culture in Regina.

The Association organizes competitions, workshops, tours, public performances, and a variety of cultural and social events for the membership and the public at large.

We encourage you to become a member of the RHDA!
Highland Dancing is an excellent activity for young people, providing physical and intellectual challenges.

All RHDA dancers perform in the community and at Regina’s Mosaic Cultural Festival (we are a full member of the Scottish pavillion). More experienced dancers also give professional-level performances at places like the Casino and the Saskatchewan Tattoo. Dancers compete at provincial, national and international levels

The RHDA is also a place where kids can be great friends! Competition and performing are main focuses. Highland dancing is a highly complex dance form requiring a combination of skills and abilities, and good physical conditioning. Children learn to perform their best, while at the same time appreciating the skills and abilities of their fellow dancers.

Highland dancing competitions are held 3 times per year in Regina, and many dancers also travel to events in Saskatoon, Battlefords, Quill Lake, and Winnipeg. As well, summer Highland Games events offer Highland dancing around the World! RHDA members compete in events right across the country!
