The Hockey Regina Inc. Female Hockey Challenge committee,
along with Title Sponsor, Sasktel, and Elite Sponsor, Mosiac,
are pleased to announce the 17th anniversary of our tournament.

The tournament has been scheduled for
December 4th, 5th, and 5th, 2009.

This is one of the largest Female Hockey tournaments in Western Canada. Our objective is to provide a quality tournament for female players of all ages, and to promote the growth of female hockey within and beyond Saskatchewan.  Teams from Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan have participated in this premiere tournament. In 2007 we had 48 teams from Western Canada represented.

We have expanded the tournament to fifty four (54) teams, to include the Novice, Atom,
Pee Wee, Bantam, Bantam AA, and Midget Divisions

1. 4 game guarantee
2. pools will be created in each division of a representation of teams from within the Hockey Regina league (including affiliate teams) and from outside of the league.  As far as is possible, we will place teams that play in the same league in different round robin pools.
3. teams will not play more than two games in one day
4. no back-to-back games
5. tournament begins Friday, December 5th at noon.  Teams with the farthest to travel will be scheduled for later in the day on Friday.
   

We have had to turn away teams every year, and in order to allow all teams
the opportunity to attend, we have changed our registration process for 2008.
