The Regina Association of Middle Eastern Dance members are always looking for opportunities to perform. Any function featuring Middle Eastern Dancers is guaranteed to be a hip droppin' good time! 

HOWEVER, RAMED does not perform at gentlemen-only parties. 

Our suggested performance fees are as follows (but they are negotiable!):
Solos: $150/set
Duets: $175/set
Group of 3 or more dancers: $250/set
A set is approximately 15-20 minutes.
Out of town performances are charged an additional $.30/kilometer travel fee.

Aschera Rose
has been dancing since 1986 and started teaching in 1997. She is available for Solo, Duet and Group performances and is director of the Zarifah Dance Troupe.

Bedouin of the Red Tent (Tribal Style Belly Dance)

Carleen started belly dancing in 1988.  She is available for all performance opportunities including Solo, Duet and Group and is a member of the Bedouins of the Red Tent.

Jeanne
discovered her passion for belly dancing in 1990.  She also has been teaching since 1999. She is available for all performance opportunities including Solo, Duet and Group.

Zarifah Dance Troupe
organized in 2001 under the creative direction of Aschera Rose.
This troupe performs both cabaret and ethnic oriental dance.
From playful to sensual, can to cabaret,
the troupe evokes a wide range of styles and moods.

 

Punky's love for Middle Eastern dance began at age fourteen and as has only grown stronger over the years. It has moved her to study it intensely and travel to other places to learn it from other knowledgeable dancers; and will continue to do so. Punky has training in other dance forms such as; hip hop, Caribbean, flamenco, contemporary, and Latin.

Her Portfolio Includes:
Solo, Duet, Group
Traditional style belly dances- Egyptian, Cabaret, Nubian
Tribal belly dance, Tribal fusion belly dance
Fusion belly dances- hip hop, Caribbean, African, Latin, Pop, Etc
