Becoming A Member is Easy

Your paid membership will automatically get you full member privileges in the Regina Windy Flyers, unlimited access to the flying field and all of our facilities. MAAC membership is a requirement for all club members before any flying may take place. MAAC membership is available through the Regina Windy Flyers and may be paid at the same time payment for Regina Windy Flyers membership is made. If MAAC membership is paid through the Regina Windy Flyers then membership is automatic as we are an affiliated MAAC organization. If membership in MAAC is not made through the club, MAAC membership card must be shown before a member has flying privileges. We always recommend making MAAC payment through the Regina Windy Flyers as it is fast and easy with no waiting for membership card to arrive.

The Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC) provides you with $5,000,000.00 of liability insurance coverage. You must have a MAAC membership to fly at our field or any MAAC or AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) sanctioned flying field in Canada or the United States.

If you do not have, or have not renewed your MAAC membership, you can fill out that application as well. You must have a MAAC membership (AMA for visiting Americans) to fly at our field.

Completed RWF membership form as well as MAAC form along with payment may be given to any Club executive, any club instructor or may be dropped off at approved local hobby shops. As well memberships may be mailed along with payment to.

Membership Fees

Regina Windy Flyers membership is available in a full year effective from January 1st to December 31st of each year or half year effective from August 1st to December 31st. The rights of membership shall terminate on December 31 of each year. All club members will still be accepted as paid members until the March meeting of the following year although no flying privileges are granted until becoming fully paid for the year. Flying privileges require membership in MAAC (Model Aeronautics Association of Canada)

MAAC FEES ARE CLUB PROCESSED AND ARE FOR MEMBER CONVENIENCE. THEY CANNOT BE AND ARE NOT PART OF CLUB FUNDS IF MAAC IS OBTAINED SEPARATELY, NO FLYING WILL BE PERMITTED UNTIL THE MAAC CARD IS RECEIVED BY MAIL.

Family Membership

New Open Members

New club members: for any new "Open" member that has never previously been a member of the Regina Windy Flyers will qualify for a 1st year rate equal to Early Bird membership.
