Regina Rowing Club

Welcome

Members of the Regina Rowing Club are training daily on Wascana Lake to improve their fitness and their performances. New members are welcome to join our club. Once they have completed the learn to row program, new members can enjoy the outdoors, right in the heart of the Queen city.

In the winter time, athletes are training indoor, “erging “, on rowing machines at the Canada Games Room by the boathouse in Wascana Park.

FIREWOOD SALE

The RRC Firewood Sale is in its 19^th year of operation and constitutes a major fund-raiser for our Club. We sell only seasoned birch, delivering in Regina during weekends in September and October. We pride ourselves in delivering and stacking the wood exactly where our valued customers want it.

WESTERN CANADA SPRINTS REGATTA
Saturday June 11th 2011 on Wascana Lake

On June 11^th, top rowers from Western Canada have compete in the 34^th annual Western Canada Sprints Regatta in Regina.

Thank you to all our great volunteers, umpires and all the coaches and athletes who compete from Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Regina. See our photo gallery.

LEARN TO ROW in 2011

New members are welcome to join us.

Several Learn to Row (LTR) sessions have been offered this year. Each session included 3 classes run over a Wednesday evening (2 hours), a Thursday evening (2 hours) and a Saturday morning (4 hours). The fee for a Learn to Row session is $150.

LTR is for individuals with no previous rowing experience.

To register, you need to fill the following documents (available online in a few days) with your payment :

· SRA waiver
