3)    2005 Tri-Community Neighbourhood Watch Programs:

A)    Neighbourhood Watch Web Page:

www.accesscom.ca/nonprofits/rmrca/nw

This is the 7th year of operation for the web site. We established this site so our members may obtain information online about the Tri-Community N.H. Watch community area. The site contains a area map, all newsletters, all AGM reports, a contact list, crime stats for all 3 areas for 1996 to 2005. For more information please contact Steve at 949-1370.

B)    Neighbourhood Watch Newsletter:

Over the last year we have been placing notices in the R.M.R.C.A. newsletter in the hope that we will be able to get more people interested in joining the Tri-Community N.H. Watch executive, Area Leaders & Block Captains as over the years we have lost many of our original members.

C)    Events attended:

Neighbourhood watch has been at the following events: RMRCA registration nights &  RMRCA Spring Festival with a display / information table. We have had a few inquires and sign ups at this events.

D)    General meetings:

Over the last year we have seen a marked decline in the people coming out to our meetings. Without the feed back and assistance from the members it makes it next to impossible to direct the N.H.Watch program so it can help the community. Our next meeting is To Be Announced when interest is present to continue.

E)    Back Alley sign project:

We have completed posting signs in all the area that required one. This includes problem areas, schools, churches & city buildings. This signs will act as a warning to people in our community. If you wish to purchase one for $5.00, you may contact Dennis at 545-8059

4)     President's Message

Over the last year we have very few people attend meeting, no assists with N.H. Watch projects & general lack of interest.  As a result of this situation ( With great regret ) the executive passed a motion at the March 2006 meeting to shut down the Tri-Community N.H. Watch in March 2007 if no other interest is show by the community and all funds and material will be given to the R.M.R.C.A. So if you wish to see the watch to continue to serve your community we must have the members of the community get involved and help expand the watch program to all 3 communities. For more information contact Dennis at 545-8059.

Dennis Zawyrucka - President

Yours respectfully - Tri- Community Neighborhood Watch Executive
