Neighbourhood Watch Back Alley Sign Project:
The Tri-Community Neighbourhood watch is working with The Regina Neighbourhood watch in a project to make our back alleys safer. N.H.Watch will be posting 30 signs on the back of fences and garages this summer. If you wish to purchase one for your property at $5.00. contact a N.H.Watch member of the executive or call Ray at 347-7677.
Tri-Community Neighbourhood Watch Patrol program :
Several random local patrols have been completed by several of our patrol volunteers this summer. The patrols have seemed to calm some areas down and we are get positive comment from members in the community. If you are intrested in getting involved please contact Dennis at 545-8059
Two programs Canceled:
The Child I.D. & Bicycle Rodeo were cancel due to the support groups that were to assist were not available at the anounced dates.
Update on Safe Guard & Personal Protection Clinic:
We had a great turn out to both the Safeguard and Presonal protection clinics this spring. All that turned out had positive things to say about the two clinic. If you wish to see these clinics run again please contact Dennis at 545-8059.
Neighbourhood Watch Wind up at Rick Hanson Playground:
On June 1, 2002 Tri-Community N.H.Watch & theRosemont Mount Royal Community Assoc. had a joint wind up at Rick Hanson Playground. Almost 200 people attended and had a family picnic with free kites, wind socks, free cake and prizes. We also had a display tent on site with information and 3 N.H.Watch back alley tiles were drawn for.
Cameras in Rick Hanson Playground update:
The cameras are up and working in the playground area. They seem to be making a differance. We will keep you posted on the progress as we recieve information from the city.
Neighbourhood Watch Newsletter to go online, your opinion needed:
In the next 6 month we need your opinion on if you would like to see the newsletter go to a on-line publication on the internet. This would mean less expense for printing, delivery , could be updated more often and would be available at any time you wish to view and print it. Please let us know if this option would be used by you. Contact us by leave a message from our web site or by calling Steve at 949-1370 .
