Projects for 2002 - 2003
Area Clean up Sept 28 , 2002:
Last years area cleanup on the Rosemont / Mount Royal community was a big success. A total of 23 tons of trash and recyclable material was removed from the area with the help of 20 volunteers. We are planning to repeat the program this fall in the Rosemont area again. Watch for information on the community signs and newsletter. For more information , items to be picked up or volunteer please contact Judy at 545-8059.
Neighbourhood Watch Newsletter project 2002-2003:
The Tri-Community neighbourhood watch will be publishing newsletters to the members in the Rosemont, Mount Royal and Dieppe areas on the following times. September 2002, December 2002, April 2003 and possible June 2003 if grant funding is available ). Please look in your mailbox. If you have any ideas, suggestions or comments please call Steve @ 949-1370.

The Tri-Community Neighbourhood Watch will be updating our existing website in conjunction with the RMRCA site. The site will continue to have contact lists, area maps, annual/ monthly crime stats, all newsletters, all AGM reports, program listings and a bulletin area. Neighbourhood Watch Patrol Project: 2002
We have received some funding to assist us with the continuing our successful patrol project. This project will allow our 15 police trained volunteers to observe and report to the police any criminal incidents in our 3 communities. If you wish to get involved with this project please call Dennis @ 545-8059
Programs for 2002 - 2003

Child I.D. Clinic:
We will be hosting a Child ID Clinic. We hope this will ease in identification of missing children from our area.
Bicycle coding and Rodeo:
We will be co-hosting a bicycle rodeo and coding clinic. This clinic will inform the children of bicycle safety and allow their bicycles to be traced and returned if stolen.
Never be a victim:
We will be co-hosting a Never be a Victim Clinic for families (child and teen safety program). This program has proven to be effective in educating youth on how to deal with many urban problems that are present in our city today.
Personal Protection Clinic :
We will be hosting a police instructed program to educate the members of our 3 communities on how to prevent crime and fraud against adults. Many simple ideas and suggestions will keep our community a safer place to live in. For more information or to sign up please call Dennis @ 545-8059.
Safe Guard Clinic: ( Emergency Preparation )
We will be hosting a City of Regina instructed program that will educate our members of how to plan and prepare for hazardous weather or local disaster that may occur in our 3 communities. A speaker will explain and demonstrate different items you will require in these situations. To sign up please call Dennis @ 545-8059.
