Native Plant Garden
Nature Regina maintains a small garden located at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, containing a variety of native plants indigenous to southern Saskatchewan. This garden plot is weeded by Society volunteers throughout the summer. The garden is beside the south entrance to the museum (the side facing Wascana Lake).
Coming some day, this web page will provide information on the plants that can be seen in the garden, with links to photographs of the plants courtesy of Maureen and Glen Lee's Perennial Gardening on the Prairies web site. Check back here frequently: we will be featuring Plants of the Month, indicating what will be blooming in the garden. For more information on the Native Plant Garden, contact the Society or visit the garden.
