Great Plains Shooters Association

12 th Annual Pilote Butte Shoote,
Great Plains Shooters Association
21st August 2004

Well the rains held off and the wind really didn't blow until well into the afternoon.  67 shooters from Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan squared off to fire, PPC, Snub Nose Pistol and the newest event Duty Pistol.   An encouring trend was 38 new shooters from the RCMP Depot Division Training Academy who competed in the Duty Pistol event.

Gary Faulconbridge from our own GPSA won both Grand Aggregate events.  Al Voth from the Regina Forensic Lab took the Snub Nose event.

We also held a fun shoot on the RAPS range.  Teams of two competed head to head with plates and poppers.

The wives got into the act by cooking up Baron of Beef  for the awards banquete and supper.

Robin did win the "You Blew it Award"........Don't believe the stories they are not true.
