Uplands Community Association

People wishing to rent the Centre will need to contact the manager, Yvonne Thomas, at 306-545-6492. Prospective renters will be required to wear a mask (which they will provide) when meeting the manager and viewing the Centre.

The Centre will provide three hand sanitizer stations. Renters will be responsible for providing their own wipes or other sanitizers they wish to have.

Currently only 30 people per gathering are permitted as per the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) guidelines. Currently social distancing rules mean that only 64 persons may be in the multi-purpose room, 8 in the Kitchen, 15 in the Craft Room and 6 in the Office. Renters should check out the SHA website to understand the guidelines around gatherings.

Renters will still be responsible for set up of their events and afterwards garbage, kitchen clean up, sweeping, wiping down tables and chairs. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring that cleaning and sanitizing before and after events has been done as per SHA guidelines.

We hope we can achieve a safe reopening with everyone's cooperation.

When you are advertising a garage sale, moving or estate sale, please be mindful of the city bylaws as well as the property of the Uplands Community Association. The Community Association has invested money in the upkeep of the Uplands signs at the entrances of Uplands and would ask that no advertisements (posters and signs) be attached to them. The City of Regina also has a bylaw which states that signs can not be placed in the ground on public city property (for example, around the Uplands signs or on street corners or meridians). City bylaw enforcers will remove these signs and throw them away, as will city workers when they are in Uplands to cut grass in the public green spaces on Fridays. We would appreciate your cooperation on this matter.

If you are having a garage sale this summer, why not have it during the Upland Community Garage Sale so that Uplands Community Association does the advertising for you?
