Gienia Ludwig
Born in Poland and raised in Germany, Gienia moved to Canada in 1960. Enjoying drawing since childhood, Gienia began using oil paints in 1970 under the direction of Kazan and, in 1984, she enrolled in classes with Betty Barbour. Continuing working in oil, she often depicts prairie landscapes in her paintings. A member of the Brushworks Art Guild, Gienia displays her work in art guild sponsored shows.
