Linda Fox was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Taking an oil painting class at the University of Regina Extension in 1984 was the creative spark and she has been painting ever since. Linda has taken several workshops in all mediums and experimented with many techniques. Her preference is to paint in oils or acrylics with prairie landscapes and skyscapes as her subject.
Linda is a founding member of the Brushworks Art Guild of Regina, a member of the Aurora Artist Guild, the Qu’Appelle Valley Artists Guild and the Art Gallery of Regina. She has participated in many community projects including bringing art to elementary students with the Mackenzie Art Gallery’s Travelling Art Program, a member of the Artists who Care displaying at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, and an ongoing exhibition at Broadway Terrace. She has shown and sold works in many group and solo shows and has works in international, local government, business and private collections.
