Marlene Bennett
I was born in the community of Cupar, Saskatchewan and moved to Regina in 1975. I am retired and currently live in the Village Community of Katepwa Beach, in the Qu'Appelle Valley. I am mostly self taught, however, I have taken instruction from several local Saskatchewan artists. I am currently working in watercolour, acrylic, ink and some mixed media. I enjoy painting a number of subjects, however local landscapes of Saskatchewan is one of my favourite as well as still life. I draw inspiration from places I have travelled and my local community. I teach beginner watercolour and acrylic art classes from my home studio. In addition I lead fun paint and sip classes from my home. Check out my website www.artbymarlenesk.com.
