Membership
Who can join SARR?
- Adults, 18 years of age and older,
- Physically capable to carry out tasks as assigned,
- Willing to acquire and maintain training levels as outlined by association,
- Enjoy working outdoors,
- Like adventure and challenge,
- Highly motivated,
- Willing to provide an acceptable police record check.
To join complete the application form and sign the code of ethics. Bring completed forms, cheque for $30, and Criminal Record Check to a chapter meeting to be verified. You must be a member of SARR to attend the training sessions provided and to be on the call-out list. Your membership fees, $30, go towards our groups annual fee to SARSAV, the provincial SAR organization, and to training and administration costs.

Training
SARR offers numerous training opportunities for its members. The chapter conducts its own training and cooperates with SARSAV and other chapters to provide more advance training when there is demand. See the calendar for upcoming dates.
