I grew up on the family farm by Springwater Saskatchewan. My interest in art started at young age and my passion for painting started when I received a paint by numbers set from my brother.  It was then I discovered oils and painted my first original oil painting on the backside of the paint by number canvass.  Encouraged by my parents I started to take lessons when the opportunities arose.
Over the years my art has developed through independent studies supported by a number of talented artists and teachers at classes and workshops throughout Saskatchewan.
My personal philosophy is to start with a back story, my art represents a point in the evolution of the story. My mediums of choice is oil, acrylic, encaustic and mixed media; as for influences the list grows as I take risks and explore new subjects.
