Bonnie Field - Regina Federation of Artists

After graduating from high school in Weyburn. Bonnie trained as a nurse at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Regina.  She has worked as a Registered Nurse in both B.C. and Saskatchewan.  Always interested in art, Bonnie began taking art courses in the 1990s at the Neil Balkwill Centre and the Seniors Centre at the University of Regina.  She has augmented these courses with art books obtained from the North Light Book Club and other sources.  Bonnie briefly experimented with watercolours and acrylics, but has mainly worked with pastel and oil, the latter being her favourite medium.  She has engaged in a wide variety of subjects from portraiture to impressionism.
